Description du poste
At Joko, we help consumers shop smarter. Our mission is to revolutionize shopping, empowering people to find what they need, make informed decisions, and save money.
Founded in Paris, Joko is a tech company and certified B Corp with over 80 talents across Paris, Barcelona, and New York (and beyond). More than 5 million users already save money every day at 10,000+ merchants with Joko.
From cashback and automatic coupons to price alerts and carbon tracking, we keep expanding our products to make shopping smarter. We’re now building an AI-powered shopping assistant to help users find the best products by price, quality, and impact.
Having reached profitability in our core market, we’re now scaling globally, with a strong focus on the US.
It’s still day 1, come build the future of shopping with us!
At Joko, the B2B team is the growth engine: we expand Joko’s merchant network and deliver unbeatable deals to our users.
We operate across three business lines with one mission:
Online: Account Managers grow and manage our e-commerce partners
Card-Linked: Account Executives sign enterprise deals and nurture long-term retail partnerships
Gift Cards: our newest rocket 🚀 launched two years ago
You’ll join the Gift Cards team, already a massive business line, grown x10 in the last year, yet it still feels like day one. Complex flows, huge stakes, and endless growth ahead. This is your chance to join a high-energy small team where you’ll learn fast, take ownership, and directly shape one of Joko's fastest-growing business lines.
As a Gift Cards Associate, you will report directly to the Lead of the business line and sit at the crossroads of strategy, operations, and partnerships.
One day, you’ll be negotiating rates with top providers; the next, you’ll be working with Product to improve the user journey, with Marketing to boost visibility, or with Data & Operations to streamline processes and ensure flawless execution.
This is a 360° role with massive impact, where you’ll play a key part in scaling our Gift Cards business in both the US and France.
Your mission: make Joko’s Gift Cards the smoothest and most secure experience in the market.
Your mission will be to ensure that the Gift Cards business line is growing as fast and sustainably as possible. Some exciting projects you will be working on include:
Building scalable operations: set up and continuously improve processes, leveraging automation and AI tools to keep execution efficient and robust
Driving US expansion: adapt partnerships, processes, and operations to the specific needs of the US market and prepare the roadmap for the future opening of new countries.
Spotting growth opportunities: proactively identify innovations, test new ideas, and help Joko stay ahead of the curve
Managing key partnerships: build and grow relationships with top gift card providers to secure the best rates, service, and offers for our users
Shaping the product : collaborate with Product to influence the roadmap, optimize the user journey, and turn customer insights into impactful features
Ensuring flawless payments: work with payment providers to maximize acceptance rates and guarantee smooth, reliable transactions at scale
Fighting fraud: set up monitoring, controls, and innovative safeguards to keep the platform secure
Boosting visibility: collaborate with Marketing, Care, and other teams to launch high-impact campaigns and deliver the smoothest experience for every user
Languages: Fluent in French and English, written and spoken
Preferred experience: You have at least 3–5 years of experience in a fast-growing environment, ideally in Operations or Business roles. Previous experience in e-commerce is a plus
Education: You have graduated from a top-tier business or engineering school
Mindset: You have an entrepreneurial mindset, you like challenges, you welcome feedback, and you love constantly learning and getting better. You’re proactive, innovative, and not afraid to experiment to foster growth. You have a strong capacity for adaptation, organization, and autonomy. You always go the extra mile
Efficiency: You are obsessed with efficiency and processes; you make complexity look simple
Analytical skills: You are a data-driven thinker who loves to turn numbers into action.
Energy: You thrive on connecting with new people. Your strength lies in active listening and crafting solutions to tackle challenges
A strong understanding of payment systems is a plus
